"Pressed to seasoned French oak, wild-yeast fermentation, 10 months' maturation in oak on lees. Interesting to note that winemaker Paul Dahlenburg feels his understanding of the Fiano grape is growing. It shows in 2022 with stunning flavour intensity and textural composition. In possession of both strength in poise, it launches into an arresting scent of pear, baked apple, peach, melon and almond meal. Runs long, smooth and concentrated against a mealy, lightly savoury background. That's a wow!"
